Overview
This feature allows employees to opt in to the healthcare plan that their company has registered in Factorial. Once enrolled, the employee’s healthcare status is updated in the platform so both the company and the employee can easily track its progress.
When and why it should be used
- To give employees an easy and transparent way to sign up for company healthcare benefits.
- To reduce manual administrative work for HR teams.
- To ensure accurate and timely communication with healthcare providers.
How to use
- On your sidebar, go to My benefits
- Access the Catalogue tab
- If your company has registered a healthcare plan, you will see the benefit listed
- Click on Enroll now
- Fill in the required information
- Click on Save

If you need to remove an employee from having Benefits, please contact Support by opening a ticket. Our team will handle the change internally. At the moment, this action cannot be managed directly from the platform.
Tips and best practices
- If you notice incorrect details in your Factorial profile, update them separately in your profile after completing enrollment
- If the benefit is not visible in My Benefits > Catalog, check that your company has registered a healthcare plan in Factorial or contact your HR team.
Keep in mind: enrollment for dependents (e.g. family members) is not yet supported.
Why an enrolled employee may not see Benefits in their account
In some cases, an employee may be enrolled in a healthcare plan but still not see the Benefits section or the benefit in their Factorial account.
For a healthcare benefit to be visible to an employee, the following conditions must be met:
- Benefits must be active for the company
- The employee must be activated as a beneficiary
- A healthcare plan must be configured in Factorial
If any of these conditions are not met, the employee may not see the Benefits section or the healthcare plan in their account.
Once these requirements are fulfilled, the benefit will appear in the employee’s My Benefits section.
The enrollment status then determines how the benefit is displayed:
- Requested → the benefit appears with the status Processing
- Active → the benefit appears with the status Active
If the employee cannot see the benefit
Check the following:
- Benefits are active for the company.
- The employee has been activated as a beneficiary.
- A healthcare plan has been configured in Factorial.
If all of the above conditions are met and the employee still cannot see the benefit, contact Factorial Support for further assistance.
Bear in mind that in order for the My benefits section to appear in your sidebar, you need to be enrolled in the Benefits program.
