Do it with One: "How did our latest performance review go?"

Every launched performance review has its own results, split into tabs: Insights, Answers, Heatmap, Personal results and Team insights. Admins and owners see everyone; managers see their direct and indirect reports; employees see their personal results. Results appear as evaluations are submitted, not only when the review ends.

Before you start

  • Results only exist once the review is Active or Finished. Drafts have no results.
  • What you see depends on your role and the review's Visibility settings. See Review features, visibility and launch.
  • People who only have personal results see the Personal results page directly, without tabs.

The result tabs

Tab What it shows Who sees it
Insights Task cards (Completion rate, Reviews, Action plans, Peer assignment), the Performance score distribution chart, and a table of people with Self review, Manager review, Peer review progress, Score, Alignment and Published results Admins, owners, managers

Heatmap Ratings of each person across the rating questions, colored by score, to spot patterns Admins, owners, managers
Personal results Your own results as an evaluated person: answers you can see, score and competency assessment Anyone evaluated in the review
Team insights An AI-generated AI Summary of a manager's team, with average performance and alignment and Suggested action items Managers (their team), admins

 Steps

Open one person's results

  1. In Insights, click a person in the table.
  2. The person's page shows:
    • each evaluation as a card (reviewer, review type, status, score) with View to read the answers;
    • AI Insights with Performance, Alignment, Strengths and Areas to improve (see AI features in Performance: insights, suggested competencies and writing help);
    • the Performance score, with the score per review type if you have See employee score details including strategy score;
    • the Competencies assessment chart comparing self, manager and peer ratings with the Expected level, if the review includes competencies;
    • the action plan, if started.

Compare self and manager answers

  1. Open the Answers tab.
  2. Filter Review type to see the self review and manager review answers for each question side by side.

 Rules and behavior

  • If a review is Active, then results include only evaluations already submitted.
  • If you are a manager and the review is Active, then you only see your reports' results if Grant managers early access to responses is on.
  • If you are an evaluated employee, then you see your results after the review is Finished, unless Restrict results visibility is on.
  • If a person is missing an evaluation that counts towards the score, then their Score shows "Final score could not be calculated due to missing reviews".
  • If Make peer review anonymous is on, then the evaluated person sees peer answers as Anonymous.
  • The Score shown is the final score on the review's scale, with decimals (for example 3.9 / 5).
  • Potential scores are shown to admins, owners and managers only.

Limitations

  • You can't compare two different reviews in the same results page. Use Talent Analytics or One Analytics for trends.
  • You can't edit answers or scores from the results.
  • You can't see the 9-box grid inside a review. It's in Talent Analytics.
  • You can't see results of a review you have no role in.

 Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: "The tabs are empty." → Cause: no evaluations have been submitted yet, or the review is a draft. → Fix: check participation in Insights.
  • Symptom: "Some employees don't appear." → Cause: they aren't in the review, you don't manage them, or the filters exclude them. → Fix: clear the filters and check Edit > Targets.
  • Symptom: "As an employee I only see my own answers." → Cause: Restrict results visibility is on. → Fix: this is a review setting; your manager can share the answers through the action plan.
  • Symptom: "I don't see the Team insights tab content." → Cause: team insights are generated for managers with reports in the review, once enough evaluations are submitted. → Fix: wait until more evaluations are submitted.

In Talent Analytics (Performance and 9-box grid) and in the Performance analytics dashboards. Both are available to admins only. See Talent Analytics, the 9-box grid and review history in analytics.

4. Can I download the results?
Yes. See Export review results.
