SaaS catalogue

The SaaS catalogue lists every SaaS you can connect from SaaS > Directory > Add a SaaS.

The SaaS catalogue lists every SaaS you can connect from SaaS > Directory > Add a SaaS. Check it before you connect a SaaS: it tells you which vendor plan you need and what Factorial IT can manage once the link is live.

Feature/Functionality

Overview

Each row is one SaaS. The columns show:

  • Plan needed: the vendor plan the integration requires. Blank means no specific plan is listed.
  • User provisioning, groups, roles and licence management: what Factorial IT can handle in that SaaS once connected.
  • Other properties: anything extra it can manage.
  • SSO mandatory: the SaaS must use single sign-on for the integration to work.

How to use

  1. Find the SaaS in the table below and check the plan it needs.
  2. Go to SaaS > Directory and click Add a SaaS.
  3. Pick the SaaS and follow the steps on screen. See "Connect your SaaS".

If the SaaS is not listed, connect it as a custom SAML SaaS or track it manually.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Check the vendor plan before you start. If your company is on a lower plan, the integration may not be available until you upgrade.
  • Note which SaaS require SSO. For those marked in the last column, set up SSO as part of the connection.
  • Use the columns to set expectations. If a SaaS shows only user provisioning, groups and roles stay in its own admin console.
