In the Time > Attendance section, permissions define what actions users can perform related to time tracking and attendance management. These permissions control access to viewing, editing, and approving attendance data, ensuring that each role has the appropriate level of access.

Employees must be assigned to the corresponding permissions group for attendance permissions to apply.
Below is an overview of the available permissions and what each one allows.

Autofill timesheet
This permission, allows the employees inside the specific group of permissions, to fill the timesheet for all the previous blank shifts automatically. Then you need to configure it from the time tracking policy.Learn how to do it here.

Can access calendar
This permission, allows the employees inside the specific group of permissions, to access the calendar from the sidebar menu.

Add and edit shifts and breaks
This permission, allows the employees inside the specific group of permissions to add or edit shifts and breaks. (Only can be added and edited on unapproved timesheets).Learn how to do it here.

Clock in, clock out
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to clock in and clock out from the home page. If it is not enabled, the option to clock in will not be displayed.Learn more about clock in here.

Create overtime requests
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to create Overtime requests. (Can only be created on unapproved timesheets. Then, you have to configure it from the policy.Learn how to do it here.

Delete shifts and breaks
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to delete shifts and breaks from the time tracking shifts, but only can be removed from unapproved timesheets.

- For people in their legal entity
- For the whole company

Review and approve time shifts
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to approve time shifts for:- For themselves
- For direct and indirect reportees
- For people on teams they lead
- For people in their legal entity
- For the whole company

To approve or reject timesheets and approve overtime pay, the user must have permission to "See time tracking data".

See ‘clocked in’ and ‘on break’ filter
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to see in the employee status filter, which employees have clocked in or are on a break.

See real time attendance widget
This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to see the employees clock in status in the dashboard real time attendance widget.

This permission allows employees within the selected permission group to see annual totals for maximum legal hours and hours worked on the employee's timesheet.
