One chat for everythinG
One and Analytics are now a single chat. Ask One in one conversation and it picks the right tool for each question, including Analytics, so you no longer need to choose where to ask.
Analytics is still there and your existing dashboards stay in Analytics. This is available for all customers, with nothing to enable.
How to use
This is one of three ways to create a new report in Analytics.
- Go to One in your Factorial account or to Analytics and click on Create a Report
- Describe what you want to see.
For example:- "Show me all employees with more than 10 vacation days pending before year end"
- "Create a report of active employees by team"
- "Show me the absence duration by team in the last three months”
- Review the generated report, it will include tables, charts, and metrics as relevant to your request
- Refine it by continuing the conversation for example: "Add a filter by location"
- Use the available filters (e.g. team, location, job posting) to explore the data
- Keep asking questions about the data to understand or analyse it further, for example: "Which team has the highest growth this year?"
If the report doesn't show the expected data, make sure your request is clear and specific, check if filters are limiting the results.
If the report is too broad or not relevant, refine your request with more details such as a time period, department, or location, and use follow-up instructions to adjust the output.

Save a report or dashboard in Analytics
Reports and dashboards that One creates in the chat open next to the conversation as a Draft. To keep one, save it in Analytics:
- Click Save in Analytics at the top of the report
- Review the Title and Description
- Click Save
The report status changes to Saved and you can find it in Analytics. When the result is a data table, you can also download it with Download CSV or Download Excel.
Who can save in Analytics: currently, admins can save dashboards and reports created in the chat.
Combine your own Excel file with Factorial data
You can attach an Excel file in the chat and ask One to combine it with Factorial data in the same answer.
- In the One chat, click + and attach your Excel file
- Ask One what you want to compare. For example: "Find attached our customer ratings by call center agent. Compare the average rating per agent with their latest performance review score in Factorial"
- Review the result. One matches the data in your file with Factorial data and shows the comparison
- Keep asking follow-up questions, or ask One to add the result to a dashboard
- Click Save in Analytics to keep it
Create a presentation from a dashboard
You can ask One for slides from any dashboard and download them as a PowerPoint file.
- Open or create a dashboard in the One chat
- Optional: attach your own PowerPoint template so One uses the same style
- Ask One for the presentation. For example: "Now create a 3-slide presentation from this dashboard for the leadership meeting. Use simple language and use the same style as in the ppt attached"
- Preview the presentation in One
- Click Download to get it as a PowerPoint file
Ask One about any data or chart on your report
With One, you can ask questions about any chart or data point directly from an Analytics report. One analyzes the data behind the chart and provides a clear explanation of the factors driving the results.
- Open an Analytics report.
- Find the chart you want to analyze.
- Open the chart menu and select Ask One.
- Alternatively, click directly on a data point and ask One why that value or result appears.
- You can also drag a chart directly into the One chat to investigate it.
One analyzes the live data behind the chart and provides an explanation based on the available information.
What you can ask One about
You can use One to investigate:
- A complete chart: Ask about the overall results or trends shown in the chart.
- A specific data point: Focus on a particular bar, month, value, or other data point.
- The drivers behind a result: Ask why a value changed or what factors contributed to it.
This allows you to investigate data directly from the report without manually comparing information across different reports or datasets.

Note: Exporting an already saved report does not use One credits. Credits are used when generating a new report or refining an existing report with One. There isn't a fixed number of credits per report — the cost depends on the complexity of your request, the same as any other action you ask One to do.
