This feature allows Spanish companies using the a3innuva integration to automatically synchronise sick leaves (Incapacidades Temporales, ITs) with Factorial HR.
With this automation, HR teams no longer need to manually check a3innuva or recreate absences in Factorial. Instead, sick leave data is synced daily and becomes visible directly in Factorial.

Overview
This functionality enables automatic, daily synchronisation of sick leaves (ITs) registered in a3innuva into Factorial. Once activated, any new sick leave created in a3innuva will automatically appear in Factorial as an absence and generate an Employee Update for visibility.

How to use
Setup (configuration steps)
To activate sick leave synchronization:
- Go to your a3innuva settings page
- Navigate to the Absences step
- Enable the toggle for Sync TDs automatically
- Select the admins who should receive daily sync reports
- Map absence types between:
- a3innuva absence types
- Factorial absence types
- Click Save settings
Once saved, the integration will start syncing sick leaves automatically.
How it works (daily usage)
After activation:
- A sick leave is registered in a3innuva
- The system automatically syncs it to Factorial on a daily basis
- The absence is created in Factorial
- An Employee Update is generated in Factorial for visibility
No manual action is required from HR teams after setup.
If a sick leave is not appearing in Factorial, check that the sync toggle is enabled in a3innuva settings, verify that absence type mapping is correctly configured and ensure the sick leave was created after enabling the sync (historical data may not sync automatically).
If there is an incorrect absence type in Factorial, review mapping between a3innuva and Factorial absence types and update mapping and re-save settings.

- Ensure absence types are correctly mapped before saving settings to avoid inconsistencies
- Assign at least one admin to receive daily reports to monitor synchronisation status
- Regularly review Employee Updates in Factorial to ensure data consistency
