With One, you can create multiple mileage expenses in seconds by describing your trips in a message. Instead of filling out a form for every trip, simply tell One where you traveled, when, and which project the trips were for.
Overview
One can create mileage expenses based on a natural-language message. It can use information already available in Factorial, such as addresses and projects, to fill in the details for you.
This is especially useful when you have repeated trips, such as regular visits to a client or office, and want to submit several mileage expenses at once.
How to use
- Open One
- Tell One about your trips, including:
- Where you traveled from and to
- When you made the trips
- How often the trips took place
- The project related to the trips, if applicable
- For example, you can say: “I drove from home to the Acme office in Madrid every Monday this month, for project Acme”
- One creates the mileage expenses based on the information you provided
- One uses the addresses and projects available in Factorial to complete the expenses
- Review the expenses created by One
- Provide any information One asks you for if something is missing
- Submit the expenses for reimbursement according to your company's usual process

If One asks me for more information, it may need additional details if something required to create the mileage expenses is missing. Provide the requested information and One will continue creating the expenses.
If you have several recurring trips, describe the recurring pattern in a single message. For example, specify that you made the trip every Monday during a particular month. One can then create the corresponding mileage expenses together.
Tips and best practices
- Include the origin, destination, dates or frequency, and project in your message.
- Be specific when describing recurring trips. For example, mention the day of the week and the period covered.
- Review the expenses before submitting them to make sure the trips and project are correct.
- If One asks for additional information, provide it so the expenses can be completed.
