Managing contracts one by one can be time-consuming, especially when handling large teams or multiple changes at once. In this article, you'll learn how to edit or import contracts in bulk in Factorial, helping you save time and reduce manual errors.

Overview

The bulk contract editing and import feature allows HR teams to update or upload multiple employee contracts at once using a CSV file. This is ideal for mass changes like salary updates, position changes, or importing new contract data into Factorial.

Use this feature when:

  • You're onboarding a large number of employees and need to import contract data quickly.
  • You need to apply changes (e.g., updated compensation or job titles) to multiple contracts at once.
  • You’re transitioning from another HR system and need to migrate contract information.

How to Use

To Edit Contracts in Bulk:

  1. On your sidebar, go to Organization
  2. Click on the Actions menu (three dots in the top-right corner).
  3. Select Edit contracts
  4. Select the option between:
    1. Current contract versions
    2. All contract versions
  5. Then, press continue button
  6. Choose the legal entity
  7. Download the template and fill it with your employee's contract data
  8. Upload the template with the correct data
  9. Confirm the data is correct and import the contracts

Tips for a better import:
