Keep your training requests list organised by archiving requests that no longer require action. Archived requests are removed from the default view while preserving all their information, and they can be restored at any time.
Overview
The Archive training requests feature allows administrators to archive approved or rejected training requests without deleting them.
Archiving helps keep the Requests list clean by hiding completed or obsolete requests from the default view. Unlike deleting a request, archiving preserves all associated information and can be reversed whenever needed.
Key capabilities include:
- Archive and unarchive training requests at any time.
- View archived requests in a dedicated Archived tab.
- Keep the original request status (such as Approved or Rejected) after archiving.
- Restore a request immediately using the Undo option after archiving.
- Restrict archive actions to administrators with the required management permission.
How to use
Archive a training request
- In your sidebar, go to Trainings > Requests
- Locate the training request you want to archive
- Open the ⋮ (More options) menu from the request row, or open the request details
- Select Archive
A confirmation message appears with an Undo option if you want to restore the request immediately.
View archived requests
- In your sidebar, go to Trainings > Requests
- Open the Archived tab
- Browse all archived requests
- Each request keeps its original status, such as Approved or Rejected
Unarchive a training request
- Open the Archived tab
- Locate the request you want to restore
- Open the ⋮ (More options) menu or the request details
- Select Unarchive
The request returns to the default Requests list.

If you cannot see the Archive option, make sure you have the required permission to manage training requests. If you don't have the necessary permission, contact your organisation's administrator.
If you cannot find an archived request, check the Archived tab in the Requests section and verify that you're looking for the correct request, as archived requests retain their original approval status.
Tips and best practices
- Archive requests that no longer require follow-up to keep the active Requests list easier to manage
- Use the Archived tab to access historical requests without affecting your active workflow
- If you archive a request by mistake, use the Undo option immediately or unarchive it later from the Archived tab
- Archiving is recommended instead of deleting, as it preserves all request information
