Once the request window closes, the period moves to To be reviewed and you, as the Owner, decide which requests make it into the approved headcount plan. This article covers the review flow and what happens after you submit your decisions.
Starting a review
You receive a task notification, “Start reviewing Headcount Requests”. Open the period and click Review requests (the primary button shown when a period is in the To be reviewed state) to enter review mode.
Reviewing requests
In review mode you can work team by team:
- The Overview tab shows each team with a To be review status until you've handled it.
- The Employee sheet lists every submitted request.
- Select requests individually or in bulk to Approve or Reject.

Submitting your decisions
Click Lock Plan to finalise. After submitting:
- Approved requests move into the hiring pipeline with a Not started hiring status.
- Rejected requests show a Rejected status.
- Planners receive an inbox notification telling them their requests have been reviewed.
Tracking hiring
Approved positions are tracked through to hiring and connect to the Recruitment module.
