Employee ID vs. Employee Company Identifier
- In Factorial, the employee ID is your official identification number (such as your national ID, DNI, or passport), and it's the one required when clocking in via the ID method.
- The employee company identifier is a custom internal code that your company may assign. This is not used for time tracking.
Where to find your employee ID
- Log in to your Factorial account
- Go to your Profile
- Open the Personal Details tab
- Scroll to the Identification Documents section
- Look for your ID or passport number—this is your employee ID

- Open the Work Details tab
- In the Basic Info section, locate the field labeled Employee Company Identifier
- This code is used for internal company purposes only
