About the Training functionality

Gain a better understanding of the Training functionality settings by discovering its most relevant concepts

How to create a training

  1. On your sidebar click on Training
  2. Click on New training
  3. A new modal will open where you can add:
    • Name of the training
    • Type (internal or external)
    • Year
  4. Click on Create as draft and continue

 

Training details

Within the Training details section, you have the ability to both review and modify all pertinent information regarding the training. Here, you can input essential details, including:

  • The Code assigned to the training
  • A Description of its content and objectives
  • Information regarding its Cost and subsidized cost
  • The Competencies it aims to develop
  • Categorization into relevant Training Categories

Add training categories

  1. On your sidebar, go to Training
  2. Click on Categories
  3. Click on + Add category
  4. Add the name of the category
  5. Click on Save category

By clicking the (…) button located in the upper right corner you can:

  • Export the list view as a CSV or Excel file
  • Edit the columns
 
 
 

Add new competencies

  1. On your sidebar, go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to People and click on Competencies
  3. Click on Add competency
 
 

 

General files

In the General files section, you can add general training documents. Here are some examples of files you may want to add: budgets, user Guides, general exercises, syllabus and activities.

  1. Click on + Add files
  2. Add a Title
  3. Upload the Document
  4. Choose if Mark this file as public
  5. Click on Save training file

If you want to change the visibility of the file, simply click the padlock button:

  • Padlock open (the file is public): the file will be accessible for the employees assigned to this training.
  • Padlock closed (the file is private): the file will be accessible only for training managers (users with permission to manage training sessions).
 

 

Training sessions

How to create a session

  1. Open a training of your choice
  2. At the bottom of your Training details page click +Add session
  3. A new modal will open where you can add:
    • Name of the session
    • Modality (Online, presential or mixed)
    • Link or Location
    • Duration
  4. Decide whether the session will be Subsidized
  5. Opt to assign a day and time for the session if necessary
  6. Choose whether to assign an expiration date
  7. Click on Save session

If the modality is:

  • Online: only “link” field will be available
  • Presential: only “location” field will be available
  • Mixed: both “link” and “location” will be available
 

By clicking the (…) button above the session table, you can:

  • Export the list view as a CSV or Excel file
  • Edit the columns
 

 

Session files

  1. Open a session of your choice
  2. Go to Session files
  3. Click on Add files
  4. Add a Title
  5. Upload the file
  6. Choose if Mark this file as public
  7. Click on Save session file

 

To assign employees to a session

  1. Head to a session of your choice
  2. Go to Assigned employees tab
  3. Click on on Add employee
  4. Add the employees
  5. Click on Assign employees to this session

By selecting the employees and clicking the Update attendance button, you can set the attendance of the employees as Not started, Missing or Completed.

 

 

Session reminders

With automatic reminders, assigned employees will receive notifications automatically to remind them about the training session beforehand.

  1. Head to a session of your choice
  2. Go to Reminders
  3. Click on + Add reminder
  4. Add the information
  5. Click on Confirm

The assigned employees will receive an email with all the training info.

 

 

How to delete a training

  1. On your sidebar click on Training
  2. Select a training of your choice
  3. Click the three dots icon
  4. Select Delete
