In Factorial, you can easily check the working schedule assigned to each person from their profile. In this article, you’ll learn where to find the schedule depending on how working time is set up: standard working schedule, shifts, or contract hours.
Overview
Factorial allows you to view each employee’s individual working schedule from different sections, depending on how their working time is configured. This helps managers and HR teams answer common questions about working hours, shifts, and contracted hours.
When and why to use it
- When an employee asks about their working schedule.
- To check which schedule is assigned to a specific person.
- To understand whether working time is managed through a fixed schedule, shifts, or the employment contract.
How to use
View the working schedule from the employee profile
- In your sidebar, go to Organization
- Open the profile of the person you want to check
- Go to Time planning tab
- There you’ll see the working schedule assigned to that person.

View schedules managed by shifts
- In your sidebar, go to Organization
- Open the profile of the person you want to check
- Go to Time planning tab

You'll see the employee is managed by shift management
Then, to check an employee’s shifts, open the Shifts section from the sidebar. You’ll then be able to see the shifts assigned to that employee.

View hours defined in the contract
If working time is defined by agreements hours:
- In your sidebar, go to Organization
- Open the profile of the person you want to check
- Go to Time planning tab
- You'll see the employee is manager by agreements hours

To see the contract hours defined to the employee, you should:
- Go to the Agreements tab.
- Check the agreement hours section to see their working time.

Tips and best practices
Start by checking Time planning to quickly identify the type of working schedule.
If no clear schedule appears, verify whether the person works with shifts or has their hours defined in the contract.
Make sure you have the required permissions to access employee profile information.
