How to Submit Pulse check-ins

Learn how to efficiently submit Pulse check-ins and track your progress using our step-by-step guide.

The Pulse Survey is the satisfaction pop-up that can be shown to employees when they register their clock-out, based on the configured frequency (daily, weekly, etc.).

The Employee Pulse allows you to share your mood and short reflections about your workday. It’s designed to promote open communication, track engagement trends, and support a positive work culture.

How to Use

How to submit your check-in

  1. After clocking out, you’ll see a small prompt to share how your day went.
  2. Select the mood that best represents your day.
  3. (Optional) Add a short comment to explain or share context about your experience.
  4. Click submit to save the result.

Also, it will be available when clocking out from the app.

You can also access it anytime from:

  • The main dashboard
  • Your profile page
  • Your avatar in the top bar

Display rule

The Pulse is not shown on every clock-out unconditionally. It only appears if the employee has clocked at least 60% of their planned working day for that specific date.

Where the "planned working day" comes from
The system doesn't use a single fixed number for the whole company. Each day's planned working day is calculated based on what applies to that specific employee:

  • Their assigned work schedule, or
  • Their shift plan, or
  • Their contract hours (only if neither of the above applies).

That's why the 60% threshold can differ between employees, and even differ for the same employee on different days if their planned working day changes.

Practical example: If an employee's planned working day for a given date is 7h 20min, the minimum threshold to see the Pulse that day is 60% × 7h 20min = 4h 24min. If the employee only clocks 3h 42min that day, the Pulse won't appear.
