Integrating Outlook with Factorial

It integrates Outlook to be able to automate the mailing system with Factorial and to be able to send e-mails automatically.

What is Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager software system. Though primarily an email client, Outlook also includes such functions as calendaring, task managing, contact managing, note-taking, journal logging, and web browsing

  • Send custom emails automatically, every time there’s a new absence or employee hire. You can also create welcome emails to send to new employees and share with them relevant information about the company.

How to set up the integration?

Follow the steps below to integrate Outlook with Factorial.

  1. Click on the ‘Set up integration’ button from the left-hand side and sign-in to Zapier. If you don’t have an account, click on ‘sign up’ and follow the steps to create an account.
  2. Search and select Factorial.
  3. Select the Trigger Event that will initiate the email sequence.
  4. Sign-in to Factorial and authorize Zapier to access your account. If you already linked Factorial with Zapier, select your account.
  5. Click on the ‘Test and continue’ button to check if your integration is working properly.
  6. Search and select Outlook.
  7. Select ‘Send Mail’ as the Action Event.
  8. Sign-in to Outlook and authorize Zapier to access your account. If you already linked Outlook with Zapier, select your account.
  9. Select the individual(s) who will receive the email.
    Note ✍🏼: You can select specific people by typing in their email, or click on the ‘+’ button inside the input to select the new employee.
  10. Fill in the subject and body of your email.
  11. Click on the ‘Test and continue’ button to check if your integration is working properly.
  12. Click on ‘Done Editing’ and turn on your Zap.

And that’s it! Now you know how to set up automatic email sequences and notifications to give your new employees a warm welcome.
