Employees can now access and complete SCORM-based trainings directly from the Factorial mobile app. This allows learners to complete required courses from anywhere while keeping their progress and completion status synchronised across mobile and web.

This functionality is available for companies with Training Core and LMS enabled.

 

 

Overview

SCORM support is now available in the Factorial mobile app, providing the same training experience available on desktop. Employees can launch SCORM courses from their assigned trainings, complete them within the app, and continue where they left off if they exit before finishing.

Progress and completion data are automatically synchronised, ensuring training records remain up to date across all platforms.

When and why it should be used

Use this functionality when:

  • Your company assigns SCORM-based training content to employees
  • Employees primarily work from mobile devices
  • You want to increase training accessibility and completion rates
  • Teams need to complete mandatory training without requiring access to a desktop computer
 

 

How to use

  1. Open the Factorial mobile app
  2. Go to My Trainings
  3. Select the training that contains the SCORM course
  4. Open the Content tab
  5. Tap the SCORM course to launch it
  6. Complete the training content within the app
  7. Exit the course or finish all required content
  8. The system will automatically synchronise your progress and completion status
  9. You can resume an in-progress course by going back to it

The visual appearance and responsiveness of a course depend on how the SCORM package was created. Some courses may be more mobile-friendly than others.

 

The appearance and usability of the course depend on the SCORM package itself. If content is difficult to navigate or view on a mobile device, contact the training administrator to review the course design.

If your progress is not updated, make sure you have exited or completed the course while connected to the internet. If the progress still does not update, refresh the training screen or reopen the app.

If you cannot open a SCORM course, verify that:

  • The training has been assigned to you
  • The course includes SCORM content
  • You are using the latest version of the Factorial mobile app
