See a person's performance from an Analytics dashboard

Do it with One: "Show the performance review history of the employees in this table"

When you work in One Analytics, you can see an individual's performance without leaving the dashboard. Selecting an employee row opens a Profile panel with their performance, 1:1s and promotion conditions for the last 12 months. In the Analytics chat, One can also list the finished reviews of the people in a table (up to 10), write a short executive summary of one person, or check a group against your promotion policy.

Before you start

  • One Analytics, including the Profile panel and these chat answers, is for admins only.
  • Promotion checks need a promotion policy written in your company's policies.

Steps

Open a person's Profile panel

  1. Open a dashboard in Analytics.
  2. In a table that lists employees, select a row.
  3. The Profile panel opens for the Last 12 months, with:
    • Avg. performance: the average of the person's finished reviews, shown on the scale of their latest review.
    • Performance: their finished reviews and scores.
    • 1:1 meetings: their recent 1:1s.
    • Conditions for promotion: whether they meet your promotion policy, for example "Average 3.8/5 over the last 3 reviews".

List the review history of people in a table

  1. With a dashboard open, open One in Analytics.
  2. Ask "Show the performance review history of the employees in this table", or name a person.
  3. One lists each person's finished reviews in the last 12 months (or the number of months you ask for), with the score on each review's scale, and names anyone with no finished review.

Get a one-person executive summary

  1. In the Analytics chat, ask "Give me an executive summary of @Ana García".
  2. One writes a short summary covering employment and compensation, performance, punctuality, absences and 1:1s.
  3. Sections you can't access show "Not included in your access". Sections with nothing in the period show "No records in the period".

Check a group against your promotion policy

  1. In the Analytics chat, ask, for example, "Did our top performers meet our promotion policy?".
  2. One checks each person against the promotion policy that applies to them and shows who meets it.

Rules and behavior

  • If a table has more rows than One can read in full, then One can't use "the employees in this table". It offers to narrow the filter or check people one by one.
  • If you ask for review history, then One includes at most 10 people and at most the last 12 months.
  • If a person has no finished review in the period, then One says so by name.
  • Review history in chat is an answer only. It isn't saved into the dashboard.
  • If the company doesn't have a module, then its Profile section shows "This module isn't enabled for your company".
  • Avg. performance averages all finished reviews in the period on a 0–100 scale and shows the result on the latest review's scale.
  • The executive summary covers one person at a time.

Limitations

  • One can't write an executive summary for a group or a team.
  • Review history shows final scores only, not answers or written feedback.
  • One can't change a person's review or promotion status from these answers.

Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: "One says the table is only part of a larger group." → Cause: The table is truncated. → Fix: Add a filter so the table has fewer people, or ask about named people.
  • Symptom: "A section says Not included in your access." → Cause: You don't have access to that area for this person. → Fix: This is expected.

FAQ

1. Is the executive summary the same as the Profile panel?

No. The Profile panel opens from a table. The executive summary is a text answer from One in the Analytics chat.

2. Why is the average shown as 3.8/5 when reviews used different scales?

Factorial averages on a 0–100 scale and converts the result to the latest review's scale.

3. Can I use this outside Analytics?

No. These features are part of One Analytics.

Ask One: "Show the performance review history of the employees in this table" · "Give me an executive summary of @Ana García" · "Did our top performers meet our promotion policy?"
