You can now upload and manage SCORM courses directly in Factorial’s Trainings module. This allows you to centralize both native training content and existing SCORM learning materials in one place, without needing a separate LMS platform.
With SCORM import support, admins can upload existing courses created in tools like Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or iSpring, track completion and pass/fail results, and export detailed learning activity data for reporting purposes.
Available only for companies with Training Core + LMS enabled
Overview
The SCORM Importer allows admins to upload SCORM packages into the Trainings module and manage them alongside other training activities such as sessions, attendance tracking, and knowledge tests.
This feature supports:
- SCORM 1.2
- SCORM 2004
Progress is automatically synced with the training completion rules configured in Factorial.
Use this functionality when:

Upload a SCORM package
- In your sidebar, go to Trainings

- The SCORM player opens in fullscreen mode
- Completion data syncs automatically back to Factorial

For compliance and reporting, admins can export detailed data: scores, time spent, and launch history, from the Connectivity Logs export.
If the SCORM package does not upload, verify that the file is in .zip format, confirm the package uses SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 and try exporting the package again from the authoring tool.
If the SCORM content does not display correctly, confirm the package was exported correctly from the authoring tool and test the content directly in the source authoring tool if possible. Contact Support if display issues continue.
