API keys enable seamless integration between external applications, services, or systems and Factorial. They facilitate data exchange, communication, and interaction, allowing different platforms to work together smoothly and improve overall efficiency.
Factorial API is public and available to customers.
Creating API Keys
- Head to Settings
- Scroll down to the Advanced section
- Select API Keys
- Click on Create new API Key
- Enter a Name
- Click on Get my API key
API key expiration
API keys can now have an expiration date.
- New API keys expire after 24 hours by default.
- You can choose a longer expiration period when creating an API key.
- You can also create non-expiring API keys.
- Existing API keys are not affected and continue to work as before.
