Availability
Coming soon: rolling out in beta from August 2026, available to admins only at first.
When you have access, the new experience appears in One as a separate mode you can switch into.
How to use
This is one of three ways to create a new report in Analytics.
- Go to One in your Factorial account or to Analytics and click on Create a Report
- Describe what you want to see.
For example:- "Show me all employees with more than 10 vacation days pending before year end"
- "Create a report of active employees by team"
- "Show me the absence duration by team in the last three months”
- Review the generated report, it will include tables, charts, and metrics as relevant to your request
- Refine it by continuing the conversation for example: "Add a filter by location"
- Use the available filters (e.g. team, location, job posting) to explore the data
- Keep asking questions about the data to understand or analyse it further, for example: "Which team has the highest growth this year?"
If the report doesn't show the expected data, make sure your request is clear and specific, check if filters are limiting the results.
If the report is too broad or not relevant, refine your request with more details such as a time period, department, or location, and use follow-up instructions to adjust the output.

Ask One about any data or chart on your report
With One, you can ask questions about any chart or data point directly from an Analytics report. One analyzes the data behind the chart and provides a clear explanation of the factors driving the results.
- Open an Analytics report.
- Find the chart you want to analyze.
- Open the chart menu and select Ask One.
- Alternatively, click directly on a data point and ask One why that value or result appears.
- You can also drag a chart directly into the One chat to investigate it.
One analyzes the live data behind the chart and provides an explanation based on the available information.
What you can ask One about
You can use One to investigate:
- A complete chart: Ask about the overall results or trends shown in the chart.
- A specific data point: Focus on a particular bar, month, value, or other data point.
- The drivers behind a result: Ask why a value changed or what factors contributed to it.
This allows you to investigate data directly from the report without manually comparing information across different reports or datasets.
