This feature in Factorial HR allows admins to create courses and training groups faster using AI-powered co-creation with One. Instead of starting from a blank multi-step wizard, you can now describe what you need or upload a file, and the system will generate a structured draft for you.
This makes it easier for teams to start building learning content in Factorial HR, especially when they already have an idea, outline, or document ready.
Overview
One Co-Creation helps HR and L&D admins quickly generate:
- Courses
- Training groups
- Structured learning content
You can interact with One by chatting or uploading files (such as PDFs).
When and why it should be used
Use this feature when:
- You want to create training content quickly without starting from scratch
- You want help structuring a course or training group
- You are onboarding teams into the Trainings module
- You want a faster way to launch learning programs
- Want to quickly turn existing documents into structured training content
How to use
From scratch
- Go to the Trainings list in Factorial
- Click New course
- One opens in fullscreen with a co-creation prompt
- Type a request (chat input)
- Example prompts:
- “Create a course about onboarding for new hires in the sales team”
- “Build a training course for managers about performance reviews"
- One generates a draft course or training group
- Review the structure and confirm or adjust it
- Publish or continue editing your course

From a file upload
- Go to Training
- Open the ONE assistant within the training content editor
- In the chat, click on the file upload icon
- Select and upload your document (e.g., PDF or text file)
- Add a prompt (optional), such as:
- “Create a course from this document”
- “Generate modules and quizzes based on this content”
- Send your message
- The AI will analyse the file content
- It will generate a structured course, including:
- Modules
- Pages
- Quiz questions (if applicable)
- Review and edit the generated content as needed
- Save and publish your course

You can check the content being generated while ONE is still working on it. ONE is displaying each module and block when it's generated,
If One does not generate a course, ensure your company has One enabled (OpenAI_useOne configuration required) or refresh and try again with a clearer prompt.
If you cannot see the “New course” option, confirm you have permissions to create courses in Trainings and check that the Trainings module is enabled for your account.
If the uploaded file is not generating content, check that the file format is supported (e.g., PDF, text document), ensure the file is not corrupted or empty and try re-uploading the file.
If the generated content is incomplete or unclear, use a more specific prompt to guide the AI, upload a more structured or detailed document or split large files into smaller ones for better processing.
