Mobile One is fully native, offering a fast, smooth, and reliable experience directly within the app. In addition to answering questions, One can help you complete everyday tasks such as requesting time off, submitting expenses, booking office spaces, and more — all from a single conversation.


 

Overview

The native mobile experience brings One directly into the app with improved performance, real-time responses, voice interactions, file attachments, conversation history, and the ability to perform actions on your behalf.

With Mobile One, you can:

  • Request vacation or time-off days
  • Submit expenses individually or in bulk using photos or scanned receipts
  • Book, modify, or cancel desk and meeting room reservations
  • Create support tickets
  • Share posts or announcements
  • Comment on posts
  • Ask questions using text or voice

Before completing any action, One will always show you what it is about to do and ask for your confirmation.

When and why it should be used

Use Mobile One whenever you need quick access to information or want to complete common workplace tasks directly from your phone.

The native experience is designed to:

  • Reduce the number of steps needed to complete tasks
  • Provide faster, real-time responses
  • Allow hands-free interaction through voice
  • Keep your conversations available for future reference
  • Improve reliability when network connectivity is unstable
 

 

How to use

  1. Open the Factorial mobile app
  2. Tap the One floating button
  3. Type your question or tap the microphone icon to speak your request
  4. If needed, attach files by:
    • Taking a photo
    • Using the built-in document scanner
    • Selecting documents from your device
  5. If you ask One to perform an action, review the proposed action carefully
  6. Confirm the action when prompted
  7. Wait for One to complete the request
  8. Access your conversation history anytime to continue previous chats, search for information, pin important conversations, or delete conversations you no longer need

If you can’t find the One icon on your mobile app, ensure that your app is updated to Version 25.12.2 (for Android). 

If your file upload failed, verify that the file format is supported, check that your internet connection is stable and try uploading the file again.

If you cannot find a previous conversation, open the conversation history section, use the search bar to locate conversations by keyword and verify that the conversation has not been deleted.

  • Be specific in your queries: For quicker and more accurate results, try to be specific in your questions (e.g., “Who’s on the People team?” rather than just “Who’s in the company?”).
  • Use One as your first point of contact: If you need information quickly, start with One before reaching out to HR for assistance.
  • Use voice input when you're on the go and need a faster way to interact with One
  • Upload clear photos of receipts to improve expense submission accuracy
  • Pin frequently used conversations for quicker access
  • Use the search function in your conversation history to find previous answers or requests
  • Review all actions before confirming them to ensure the correct information is submitted
