Knowledge Tests in Training allow you to evaluate whether employees have acquired the knowledge from a specific course—directly in Factorial. This feature is ideal for mandatory trainings (e.g., legal or ISO certifications) and helps measure ROI for other courses.

Overview

Knowledge Tests can be linked to any course in the Training module. They allow you to create and send customised exams, automatically score results, and view average scores in the Course Overview.

How to use

1. In your sidebar, go to Trainings
2. Select the Course you want to assess
3. Go to the Surveys tab
4. Click on Create from scratch → Start from scratch
5. Select Knowledge Test
6. Select:
   1. Name
   2. Description
7. Click on Add
8. Within the survey, click on Add content
9. Select:
   1. Type
   2. Title
   3. Description
   4. Options
10. Click on Add
11. Click on Save at the top right corner

Once completed, Factorial will:

1. Calculate an automatic final score (0–100%)
2. Display the average score in the Course Overview
3. Review results directly in the Training module to track learning progress

1. Can I reuse a test for another course?
    No, each test is linked to a specific course. You can duplicate and adapt the questions manually.
    
2. Will the scores affect completion status? 
   No, scores are for evaluation purposes only and do not determine course completion.
