The AI Chat is your personal assistant inside Factorial. It connects to your 1:1s, notes, and engagement data to help you prepare, coach, and follow up with clarity. You can ask questions, get summaries, or surface insights — all in context and in real time.
AI Chat helps managers turn meeting data into actionable insights. It makes it easy to track progress, identify blockers, and prepare for 1:1s with context. It also provides a team-wide view to see who needs support or hasn’t had a recent check-in.
When to use it
- Before the meeting: Get a quick summary of your last 1:1, check pending actions, or see engagement trends.
- During the meeting: Ask for talking points, add context, or capture key decisions as you go.

Where to find it
You can access the AI Chat from the Engagement section.
It’s available:
- On your main reports view, where you can interact with insights across all direct reports.
- On an individual employee’s page, where you can ask for personalized context and suggestions.
- Inside an active 1:1, where you can use it live during the meeting.
Here are a few ways to use the AI Chat:
- “Summarize my last three 1:1s with Ana.”
- “What are the open action items across my team?”
- “Who hasn’t had a 1:1 in the past two weeks?”
- “What topics have come up most often with my reports this month?”
