How to cancel your Factorial subscription

We’re sorry to see you go! This article explains how to cancel your Factorial account, who can request the cancellation, and what you should do before your subscription ends

Who can request the cancellation

Only the platform administrator of your company’s Factorial account can request to cancel the subscription.

If you are not the admin, please contact your company’s account administrator - Factorial Support cannot process cancellation requests directly from employees or other users.


 

When to request the cancellation

To cancel your account, the admin must submit the request before the next billing date, respecting the following notice periods:

  • Monthly plans → at least 15 days before the next renewal date.
  • Annual plans → at least 30 days before the next renewal date.

The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no further invoices will be generated after that.


 

How to cancel your account

  1. The Admin should contact their Factorial Account Manager or contact person directly
  2. The Account Manager will confirm the request and process the cancellation according to the applicable notice period
  3. You’ll receive confirmation once the cancellation has been scheduled

Important: Access after cancellation

Once your subscription is cancelled, you and your employees will no longer be able to access your Factorial account or any of its data.

Before the cancellation date, make sure to:

  • Download all payroll, documents, reports, or employee data you may need in the future.
  • Save any historical records you want to keep.
  • After cancellation, all information becomes inaccessible to every user, including administrators.
 

 

FAQ

  1. Can any employee request account cancellation?
    No. Only the platform administrator can request the cancellation.
     
  2. Can I still access my data after the cancellation?
    No. Once the subscription is cancelled, your account and data will no longer be accessible.
     
  3. Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?
    If your account has been fully deactivated, a new subscription will be required. Please contact our Sales team for assistance.
