In France, the number of days of paid leave earned depends on the number of days worked by the employee in the company.
What are Working Days?
➡️Working Days represent the general legislation working days of a company between Monday to Friday. A week off in working days is calculated over 5 days. In the first case, the minimum annual leave is 30 days, in this case, the minimum annual leave is 25 days.
💡25 days of annual leave = 1 week of vacation calculated over 5 days.
Configuring Working Days

- Base Allowance days = 25 working days

- Cycle span = June to May
The employee acquires 2.08 working days per month. This corresponds to 25 working days for a full year of work.
What are Jours Ouvrables ?
➡️When counting vacations in working days, 6 days are calculated for one week. All days except the mandatory day of rest, usually Sunday, are taken into account. The day of rest depends on the job and the sector of activity. When calculating Jours Ouvrables, Saturdays are included as well. Therefore, a week off is calculated over a 6 days period.

Whether the employee works full-time or part-time, he acquires 2.5 working days per month. This corresponds to 30 working days for a full year of work.
