Through the Reports feature, you will be able to create circular graphics, bar charts, tables, and much more with a couple of clicks! Take advantage of all the information you store in Factorial to run HR reports that allow you to measure and make decisions based on real numbers. Reports on age, salary, seniority, workforce... all in one click and ready to be presented.
How can I create a report?
There are several ways to create a report in Factorial.
First of all, only the administrator can create reports, employees with a non-administrator role do not have access to this functionality.
Create a custom report ✏️
Factorial will allow you to create reports to your liking, with the data you want to get the metrics you want.
It's very simple! To create a custom graph, simply go to Reports > "+" > Create Custom Report.
Once you have selected the option to create a custom chart, you will see that you have the following choices:
- Give the chart a title
- Select the type of report
- Adding initial and secondary data
- Record the grouping value, if necessary
- Add a filter if required
From here, you can add data to your report to shape it and create a chart that will be useful to you and allows you to plot data.
In the attached example, we have taken out a graph to find out which type of absence is most requested by the employees of the company DEMO.

We see that Factorial provides us with a pie chart of the types of leave requested by employees till today. Also, it gives us a table in which we can see in more detail the types of absence and the number of employees who have requested it.
Add report from library 📚
In Factorial we have added a list of reports created by default in order that the administrator does not have to create them manually.
If you go to Reports > Add library reports > click on the "+" button at the top right, you will have the option to choose one of the reports created by Factorial.
These reports are divided into categories:
In each category, you will find reports customized by the Factorial team, which will be very useful to compare metrics and data of your employees.
